Luke Owen 3D Art

 Hi, my name is Luke Owen. I was born in Ashford, Kent in the UK. I am 21 years old and live at home at the moment. I have been working in 3D since Jan 2010.

I started out by creating game mods with a friend. From there I developed a large interest in the subject and after a while decided that I wouldnt mind trying to make a living out of this. So in June 2010 I sent an email to a company called Train2Game asking for a position on one of their courses. At the end of September 2010 I recieved a phone call for the company and they told me that they would be sending a representative to my house to talk to me about the course and my interests. After a very relaxed couple of hours the guy left telling me "If you are successful in getting a position on the course, I will be in touch with you to discuss your enrollment." So after a tense week of waiting by the phone I got a call and the guy told me I had been accepted.

So in October 2010 I started my Train2Game course. I feel that I have progressed very well with my course and have just passed my first exam.

Since the course started I have learned many thing about the games industry, how games are created, mass produced and then sold
